ABOUT

Central Audio Archiving is an independant archival company owned and operated by Catherine Vericolli, a transfer and archival engineer based in Nashville, TN.

CAA specializes in transfers for album reissues for independent record labels, medium to large collection archive management, and digitization services for independent musicians. CAA digitizes most open reel analog and digital formats from the early 60’s though to the 2000’s, and offers archival standard services including: analog tape incubation, asset identification and assessment, damage remediation, edit repair, custom audio file format and delivery, asset documentation scanning, secure email and invoicing, and communicative 24/7 customer service.

CAA’s facility in Nashville receives assets via secure shipping from all over the United States and Europe. Pick up and drop off services are also available for sensitive or large collections. For archives that are too large or sensitive to move, whether from secure storage, record label location or academic institution, CAA often travels for on location archive management or asset transfer.
Please contact us for on location rates and options.

CAA does not use interns, and treats every asset with the same level of sensitivity regardless of its contents. Every asset is priceless to someone, and as our recorded materials enter their 30th-70th year of storage it’s imperative they be digitized before they are lost to history.

Help us save the music!
